Bad Day...

I went out with my girlfriend for some walking and talking....maybe some coffee. And then she turned to me and said 'We shouldn't see each other any more.' It hurt. A lot. However, I didn't show her that it did. You know, just don't want it to be awkward. :(

Valentines Day

Today was Valentines Day, and it was amazing. The day started with me walking into my school to see that the staff had made personalized valentines for every 7-800 students in my school! And to make the day better, I had a date with an amazingly amazing person....first thing that I noticed was that they had a boquet of the most beautiful flowers with them! For me! The flowers included Daisies, which happen to be my favorite! The dinner went amazing, and then I get home to find that my mom had picked up a chocolate rose for me for valentines! 

So this all makes me wonder: Why have I always hated valentines day? I always looked at it as a cheap way to show someone you care....but today made me see it in a different way. Valentines isn't as commercialized a I firs tthought...it is just a day for everyone around the world to show their affection to the person they love! And so, I;ve resolved to NOT hate valentines, and to welcome it with a smiling face. I mean, what can it hurt? You're just surrounded by people you love and admire...and there's nothing wrong with that!
